The easiest way to get to Socialtel Jaco from San José (SJO) Airport is by shuttle service for a hassle-free ride. If you're up for a budget-friendly adventure, take the public bus from San José to Jaco—the bus stop is just two blocks from the hotel.
For medical needs, the nearest public clinic is 850 meters from the hotel, while private clinics are just 1 km away if you need quicker or specialized care.
Since Socialtel Jaco is in the heart of town, you can easily walk to most places—beaches, bars, and restaurants are all within reach. For longer trips, grab a taxi, Uber, bike, or bus—Jaco is compact, so everything is conveniently close.
Socialtel is already a built-in social hotspot, but outside the hotel, the best place to connect with locals is at sunset by the beach—Jaco is famous for its golden-hour gatherings. You’ll also find plenty of bars, restaurants, and pubs buzzing with energy and local vibes.
Jaco is safe to walk around before 1 AM, especially in well-lit areas. However, avoid walking on the beach at night, as it’s too dark and not well-patrolled. Stick to the main streets and ride-shares for a safe and easy return to Socialtel.
