| Detailed Program | The day starts with a transfer to Samui’s inner river jetty where you’ll board a traditional Thai yacht. These trendy cruising yachts were originally designed to entertain the rich and famous, but have been now customised with bean bag chairs, loungers, dining area and even an onboard jacuzzi. Once aboard the crew will explain all about the boat’s facilities and the exciting day ahead.
You’ll set sail for Ang Thong Marine Park,established in 1980, is a dreamy collection of protected islands free of development. You’ll cruise to the marine park’s northern reaches – while underway appetisers and cold beverages will be served. Here you’ll have the opportunity to kayak (additional cost) or board the boat’s dinghy to explore the secluded cliffs, tunnels and beaches that form this special part of the archipelago. Weigh anchor and head for the Ko Wao islands where you’ll dive into the clear waters for a snorkel around the reefs teeming with colourful coral and tropical fish. After enjoying the snorkelling, a freshly prepared Thai-fusion lunch will be served onboard. Arrive at Emerald Lake, one of the most picturesque spots in all of Thailand. The stunning lake is surrounded by sheer limestone karts covered in vibrant green foliage. You can climb a short, but steep, trail which takes you to a viewpoint above the lake, and is one of the best spots to snap photos. On the return cruise to Samui you’ll have plenty of time to lounge onboard, take in the sunset and reflect on the wonder of Ang Thong Marine Park. On arrival back at the jetty you’ll be transferred back to the hotel. |

Brilliant day on a really cool boat that has an actual jacuzzi at the front. The marine park was a lot of fun, but I mostly enjoyed cruising around, relaxing on board while drinking a Chang.

Ang Thong is an amazing escape from Samui. Best pictures of my trip were from the viewpoint at Emerald Lake. Snorkelling was good, but the water was a little cloudy that day.
